Introducing 'The Slow Down' - MindfulWORK@Play
Slowing down is sometimes the best way to speed up

After our participation on Slow Art Day (an international event within art museums encouraging people to press the pause button), we created 'The Slow Down'. These workshops combine creative meditation, breathing techniques, mindfulness, essential oils, and a topic of discussion. Topics we have covered include; Enhancing our resilience to stress, challenging the mind to be present, ways to thrive, boosting creativity through the breath, how to meditate in innovative ways and, techniques for getting to sleep faster and staying asleep longer (outside work, obviously!). This is an important topic, as numerous studies have shown, lack of sleep impairs work performance.

Our style of workshops which are fun and inspiring aim to optimise wellbeing and mental health and, provide a strong focus on not just functioning but flourishing.

Prioritising the skills that move us forward, not pull us back
